SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 13 (KNO) : To address the complaints lodged by parents and issues raised in media regarding private schools, Commissioner Secretary Education Farooq Shah today held an urgent meeting with the representatives of the schools. Director School Education G N Itoo was also present in the meeting. Speaking during the meeting, the Secretary said that the children are our future and we need to treat them with love. Issuing instructions regarding admission fee, books, school uniform, monthly fee, the Commissioner Secretary directed the private schools to strictly adhere to the already Government issued guidelines. He said that the Government has already constituted a fee fixation committed and the committee is the sole authority to authorize any hike in the school fee, adding, therefore, private schools should refrain from increasing any fee without seeking its approval. Shah also discussed various initiatives like constituting of committees for streaming of admission process and other issues related to private schools (KNO)
